Originally from Halifax, Noel graduated from the University of Newcastle in 1986 in Civil Engineering and then went on to teach mathematics for 10 years in local secondary schools and colleges. Noel then established Peter David Properties in 1996 and has since overseen the growth of the business to what it is today. Noel is a regular road cyclist and likes to keep fit, the rest of his time taken up by his family who keep him very busy. Noel believes honesty, dedication and good communication are personal qualities key to the success of the business. However, he says this could not happen without a team of people who believe in the same values.

Sherrie has been with Peter David Halifax since 2006. At this time the company was a specialised lettings business. As the lettings business expanded, she has developed her skills and knowledge demonstrating her determination and commitment to see the business thrive. She is now the Branch Manager of the Halifax branch and oversees the lettings business in Halifax, Sowerby Bridge and Hebden Bridge. Sherrie has completed her Propertymark Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management. Sherrie spends much of her free time with her young family. She enjoys reading crime novels and crime documentaries. When the opportunity arises, she also likes to travel and visit new places.

Garry has been in the Estate Agency business for over 30 years working for corporate agencies and running his local independent agency. Garry is a local chap who was born and bred in Calderdale and knows the local sales market inside out. He has a strong work ethic and can often be found working evenings and weekends as he thrives on the business. His enthusiasm for selling property is contagious as you will see when you meet him. Completely professional and honest and he will go out of his way to keep his clients happy.

Sandra has over 30 years experience in residential sales and land and new homes, working with large corporates and small independents. She is married to Garry with 2 sons, Ben aged 24 and Fletcher age 20. Always lived in the Halifax area and now living in Friendly, Sowerby Bridge. Took over the franchise at Hebden Bridge with Garry in January 2018. Enjoying working in this unique market town which is always very busy with plenty going on and lots to see and do, which attracts buyers from all over the country.

Rick moved to Lightcliffe in 2003 after meeting his wife, Judith. Having always had an interest in property Rick was eager to establish his own branch of Peter David in 2011, when he opened the very successful Brighouse office working closely with Noel who he had met through mutual friends and a love of cycling. Since this time, Rick’s enthusiasm for anything property related has grown and grown! He loves meeting new people, is very honest in his approach and spends the majority of his time doing what he loves.

Fay is one of our Brighouse Managers, returning to the family business in 2015 after completing her Honours Degree at The University of Leeds. She has completed her NAEA Propertymark Level 3 Technical Award in the Sale of Residential Property and is committed to professional development. She particularly enjoys working in the sales side of the business and although it predominantly office based, her experience in the business means she does sometimes step in to do valuations. Her personable nature makes her very approachable; she is well-liked by colleagues and customers alike.

Lucy first worked in our Brighouse branch managing our rental properties following the completion of her Combined Honours Degree at The University of Manchester and whilst studying for her PGCE in Primary. After three years teaching, Lucy decided to return to the family firm. Her role in the business is varied but she is predominantly involved in the financial aspects of the business. She is experienced in both sales and rentals and has completed her Propertymark Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management. She is well-organised and prides herself in her ability to prioritise. In her spare time she enjoys reading, meeting friends and travel.

Sally began working at the Brighouse branch of Peter David Properties as a Sales Valuer in 2013. She is honest and passionate and develops positive relationships with vendors and purchasers. She has always lived in the local area and this in-depth knowledge is invaluable when offering advice. She is a real asset to the team and is committed to delivering the highest standard of customer service. Sally has just purchased a new home for herself and her family, which I’m sure she will put her own stamp on as she has a creative mind and good eye for detail!

Helen has worked in Estate Agency for many years initially working for her brother, Garry Horsfield, in his estate agency. She joined the Halifax team in 2012 and is now the Senior Sales Negotiator in Halifax. Her down to earth, no nonsense and honest approach allows her to work well with the team and our customers. She enjoys going on holiday, socialising, spending time with her family and is an avid horse rider. She is local to the area and clients often comment on her distinctive Yorkshire accent!

Chelsea started working for Peter David Halifax in 2010. After completing a Flight Attendant course in Leeds she was looking for a customer facing role for experience, she joined Peter David and has found estate agency to be the career she enjoys. Chelsea has since spent 11 years on the lettings side of the business and she has completed her Propertymark Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management. To expand her knowledge and experience in estate agency, she is now working in the sales department and has completed and passed the Propertymark Level 3 Technical Award in Sales. Chelsea enjoys travel when the opportunity arises and she also enjoys taking her dog to training every week. Chelsea is engaged to Jack, and together have a lovely daughter Hallie.

Vicky started with Peter David Halifax in 2008. Vicky is in charge of the repairs management side of the lettings business in Halifax, Sowerby and Hebden Bridge. Every day she will be sorting faulty boilers, leaking pipes, gas safety checks and anything else that can go wrong in a property. In this time she has established strong links with various trades which enables her to call upon their services at a moment’s notice. Vicky has also completed and passed the Propertymark Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management. In her spare time Vicky also has a young family which she spends her time with. To relax she enjoys reading and going to the gym keeping fit.

Helene has been with Peter David Halifax since 2011. Previously working in education, Helene has skills in dealing with people from various backgrounds facing various challenges. This is well suited for her role in the company where she shows prospective clients around properties to let, and for sale, and also carries out property inspections during the course of the working week to identify potential issues. She is now a proud grandmother, albeit a young one, and enjoys spending time with all her family who benefit from her superb cuisine skills. The staff also benefit from this as she often brings samples for us to try, a favourite being her famous cheese and onion pie.

Chris has worked in Financial Services for over 15 years having worked for the Yorkshire Building Society, Accord Mortgages and Santander previously. Chris, originally from Bradford, now lives in Lightcliffe with his partner Claire and their two boys George and Max. Chris has a passion for property and as a qualified mortgage adviser he also has the ability to make clients dreams come true and help them buy the property they desire. Chris and Claire have taken the opportunity to take over the Huddersfield branch from September 2019 to increase the successful brand awareness in the Huddersfield area. Away from work, Chris is a season ticket holder at Bradford City and enjoys travelling and eating out with friends. Most of the weekends are taken up with the children’s activities such as football, swimming and cricket in the summer.

Claire Ramsbottom

Pam started working for Peter David Huddersfield in June 2020. Previously Pam worked for the Yorkshire Building Society as Administration Manager for 20 years. Pam shows prospective clients around properties and looks after all the administration duties at the Huddersfield office. As Claire’s mum and Chris’s mother in law this is truly a family business. Pam’s interests are leading a church choir and helping to raise money by singing with the Overgate Hospice Choir.

Millie joined Peter David Properties in Huddersfield in April 2022 as a part-time Sales Negotiator. Her role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, including property listing, marketing, and creating brochures. Simultaneously pursuing her master’s degree in law, with a focus on becoming a clinical negligence solicitor, Millie embodies a diligent and ambitious spirit. Clients frequently commend her for her personable nature, which enhances their experience throughout the sales process.

Hannah joined Peter David Properties in Huddersfield in October 2022, bringing with her four years of invaluable experience as a Sales Negotiator. Responsible for overseeing the majority of our sales progression, Hannah is known for her friendly demeanour and unwavering commitment to achieving results. Outside of work, Hannah recently engaged to her fiancé, Luke, is a proud dog parent to Pablo. She enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle, frequently hitting the gym to stay fit, and shares a passion for attending boxing matches with her fiancé.

Jane joined Peter David Properties Brighouse branch in March 2022 as a Property Manager. She brings over seven years of experience in lettings and during her tenure she has worked at various levels including her last role as a Branch Manager for a lettings firm. Jane liaises with landlords, tenants and contractors to carry out maintenance issues to be resolved in a timely fashion. She also processes applications, inventories and checkouts. Her role also includes carrying out weekly property visits to ensure the properties are kept in good order. Jane is happily married, has two sons and lives in Huddersfield with her family.

Emma started working at Peter David Properties in June 2022 as an apprentice Property Administrator. She is based in the Brighouse office, answering the phone and carrying out admin tasks. She will be studying over the next year to complete her Level 3 qualification as a Junior Estate Agent. In Emma’s spare time she enjoys travelling, going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.

Niamh is one of our Brighouse Property Managers, on hand to help with anything rentals! She has a personable nature and has experience in liaising with landlords and tenants to ensure a smooth management experience for all. She is keen to learn more and will soon we starting her Technical Award in Residential Lettings & Property Management. Out of work, Niamh enjoys exercising, concerts and spending time with her family.

Annette joined our Brighouse office in May 2023 after taking a 4 year career break. Prior to this she had worked for a number of estate agents in the Cleckheaton area although the majority of her career has been spent in banking including stints as a mortgage underwriter, personal lending officer and many other customer facing roles. Annette is responsible for progressing sales at our Brighouse branch and enjoys providing first class service to our customers. Annette enjoys holidaying with her husband and spending time with her grown up children and their dogs.

Joanne began working at Peter David Properties as Office Co-ordinator in June 2023. She brings with her a wealth of estate agency experience along with a long career in banking which puts her in a great position to assist all of our clients with their sales and purchases. Jo lives locally and is married with two children. When not facilitating their extra curricular activities she enjoys nothing more than good food and fine wine with friends and family! She also enjoys keeping fit with Metapwr classes
